The staff was genuinely attentive and welcoming, providing thoughtful service that was a refreshing touch. Similar to my experiences in eco-resorts in the Philippines, personal connection matters. I appreciated the availability of hot beverages, which added a comforting element to my mornings. While the hotel does emphasize luxury, particularly with its premium breakfast offerings, it manages to provide real value with its spacious accommodations and convenient location. If you're looking to indulge without breaking the bank, Schwarzwaldhotel Sonne is a solid choice for a stay in Baden-Baden. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, especially for those who appreciate thoughtful service.
